People won't see the work you put in but there is someone who will.

He won't make the path easy but will help you to climb the hill.

No matter the hardships, you will get through if you believe,

He is looking after you, he won't let you grieve.

He does not ask for riches, he does not ask for money,

He won't give you everything, the bees have to work for the honey.

Every punishment for your good, every scolding for your better,

Just go ahead and talk to him, you don't need to write a letter.

Be patient. its all part of the process,

Don't be satisfied, every art needs more finesse.

Just tell him your worries, you don't need to hesitate,

With his advice, there will be peace. You will live like you meditate.

I feel the lightest when his hand is on my shoulder,

His blessings gives me the strength to break every boulder.

You might think I speak of god, That would seem the norm,

But I speak of the guru that can come in any form,

It can be parents, it can be a teacher,

It can be god if you are a preacher.

I did not find happiness in the skies, I found it in his feet,

He is holding your hand, every goal you shall meet.

The guru will not help you to live, he will teach you,

Wherever you are, his energy will reach you.

The guru is like a tree, He will give you what he made,

The world might be scorching, but everything is cool in the guru's shade.
