One for the Minecrafters.

We all have at least heard about if not played Minecraft. If you are a Minecrafter, you would be waiting for the so called 'Wild update'. This post will tell you all about it for the Java version.

New Mobs!

Minecraft is adding a few new mobs in the 1.19 update. Some, you will have fun with. Sone, you will pray you never encounter.

Frogs

First up, Frogs! Yes, Minecraft will be adding frogs and tadpoles in the new update. There are three variants of the frogs according to the biomes they are found in. The default variant is orange, the snowy variant is green and the tropical variant is green. They grow from an egg to a tadpole and then to a frog. You have heard about bucket of axolotl, but behold.. Bucket of tadpole!! You can start your own zoo by breeding frogs in Minecraft. When bred, they lay an egg and a tadpole will spawn from it soon after. What do these frogs eat? They eat fireflies! That is another new mob added. They definitely will make your Minecraft world look prettier!

The Allay

Now lets say you want a friend to bring you an item which you dropped, the Allay can do it for you! Allay is a blue mob which can fly and bring a player items. It can carry up to a stack [ 64 ].

The Warden

That is all about the fun and friendly mobs, you will find something deep underground which is anything but friendly, its found in a new biome, 'The deep dark'. By the sound of the biome, you can guess that the mob is kind of spooky. Its the Warden, the first ever blind mob in Minecraft. You might think, if its blind, there is nothing to worry about. The warden can sense the slightest vibrations and can locate the source quick. Like almost every other Hostile mob, it burns in broad daylight. This mob is not meant to be fought, you can use projectiles to destroy it as they will create a sound. It is incredibly strong and can finish a player with full netherite armor in almost just two hits. As if now, its known to have 500 health points! But like solving every problem in Minecraft, I say, just put it in a boat.

There is a new block associated with the warden as well, The Skulk. It grows on nearby mob corpse and The warden may spawn from it. Walking around this area might not be a good idea because of the Skulk Shriekers. It has two soul like patterns in the center and has the ability to produce a shrieking sound. It is activated by a 'Skulk sensor' present around it if a player walks on it. If it is activated too many times, it will spawn the warden and can give you the darkness effect and reduce your vision. You better run! There are also skulk catalysts which spread when a mob dies. It emits light. A new kind of block which is kind of like the Glow lichen is also added. It is called the skulk vein, if broken without silk touch, it drops nothing.

New Biomes and blocks!

Mangrove Swamp

This is a totally new and different biome where there are new types of trees and blocks.

It is a new variant of the swamp. Instead of dirt blocks, there are mud blocks which is a new type of block added to the game. The new type of tree is made from mangrove wood, another new block in the game. Mangrove wooden planks look a little like the acacia wood but darker. You can get things such as Mud blocks, mangrove leaves and mangrove fruits from this biome.

Updates to the Swamp

I used to feel that the swamp is a boring biome in Minecraft, but the new update is bringing more to it! The swamp will spawn frogs and fireflies now which is much more exiting.

The Deep Dark

This a new cave biome after the deepslate and the lush caves of the 1.18 update. It is probably the rarest of all cave biomes. It is found in the deepslate region of Y level -1 to -64.

It might not contain any water or lava. It tends to generate around mountain biomes. Not just that, these caves have Ancient cities in them, they contain soul sand, soul sand lanterns and candles. They also contain unique loot for the players to find!!

The warden might spawn here as it contains all skulk related blocks. It also contains deepslate frames.

Another very useful update is also added, there were minecarts with chests but now there will be boats with chests too! You can now carry a lot more with you when you go for a trip in the oceans of Minecraft.
