Hey guys! I know it's been a while and I am so sorry I could not give you guys my weekly blog content for two weeks but I am well now and I am back on track and the blog is back too! I would like to thank all my friends and family who supported me throughout the times I was sick.
I would also like to take a second to say how important health is. I got a little careless and exposed myself to a lot of mosquitos and ended up getting badly sick. I realized that everything I worked so hard for, like getting good marks at studies, having a good attendance at school, trying to plan a future for me etc. became useless when I was sick. Whoever said ‘Health is wealth’ had a point! I couldn't agree more especially after I realized that nothing is more important than your health, not your work and not your cat who you were playing with in the bushes during monsoon [ hehe ]. So take care of your health, stay safe and stay blessed!
Lets move to the blog now, shall we. I have kept you all waiting enough.
Today, I am going to review a wonderful movie I saw that touched my soul. The movie is called ‘Wake up Sid’. It is a Bollywood movie. Let's get to it!
The Main Cast

Ranbir Kapoor as Siddharth Mehra
Anupam Kher as Siddharth’s father
Supriya Pathak as Siddharth’s mother
Konkana Sen as Aisha Banerjee
Rahul Khanna as Kabir Chaudhry
Shikha Talsania as Laxmi
Namit Das as Rishi Raheja
The Plot

A spoiled youngster, Siddharth or as his friends call him, ‘Sid’ with a rich father living the life of a student and the life of an aimless person. His goals are not to excel at anything, not to be self-dependent and Independent, as long as he has his father to pay for whatever he buys and enjoys with his friends, his life is pretty much perfect. But unfortunately, his easy going boat hits a storm and turns everything around. He is out in the world now, seeing reality. He makes a good friend along the way. She, Aisha is the opposite of Siddharth. She came from Kolkata all the way to Mumbai to make a life for herself. She wants to be independent and self dependent, unlike Sid has ever thought about. But Sid now has to steer his own life through the storm himself. But he is not all alone in the sea, Aisha is with him and ready to support him. But for how long can she? Will he learn? How will he find the passion to work, excel and do something for himself? You shall see it for yourself.
The Review
The movie is a wonderful blend of Comedy, friendship, romance and a good and practical moral. The movie can make you laugh, it can make you feel inspired and a lot of other emotions too. You might wonder, is this movie appropriate for kids? Sure! It has a really good message too but I doubt kids can understand it or like it as it might seem a little boring to them. Does this movie have inappropriate scenes or language? Don’t you worry a bit, it is as clean as a whistle. Does the movie get boring or talkative along the way? A bit, yes but there are frequent and interesting twists in the movie too so it's fun to watch. How is the music, since it is a Bollywood movie? The music in the movie is great! Not only does it have a good melody, all the songs in the movie are extremely meaningful and pure. What is the message which the movie provides? The moral of the story is, life is too short to waste time, one must learn to be self dependent as one becomes older. It also teaches us that working for one’s passion is also important. To sum up, the movie might seem a little boring for people who are into genres like action and fantasy but otherwise, I would say it is worth a watch. You might just learn something from it. The movie is very positive too. That is why the title, ‘A sprinkle of positivity’. There are also a few beautiful places of Mumbai shown in the movie so it does not lack in giving the eyes a treat.
That was it for the review but I want you to leave with a little music with you.
Today’s Melody
The song I will be recommending itself is called the Wake up Sid title track, it is from the movie itself. Sung by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, it is very sweet and meaningful about telling Sid to wake up from his sleep of laziness and do something good for himself.
I hope you found this post useful, stay tuned for more!
Thank you!
