A dead man

Against a window with lively colour,
There lay the dead man, stiff bones and cold meat
His post filled with letters from his ex lover,
Photos of his son he had failed to greet
Beside a half eaten cake now gone stale,
There lay the dead man, stiff bones and cold meat
He was yet to pay for his brother's bail,
And apologise for the love he cheat..
Amidst the bustle of the big city,
There lay the dead man, stiff bones and cold meat,
No one around to show any pity,
To him or the torn shoes stuck on his feet.
A brother, a father, a son, a plan
There lay face down, nothing but a dead man
